PORE SIZE DISTRIBUTION

FIRST BUBBLE POINT TESTER

Picture
The POROLUX™ 50 is our newly developed first bubble point (FBP) tester, and is used to detect only the largest pores (FBP) in filtration and separation media. With a pressure going up to 5 bar (75 PSI), the instrument is able to detect pores down to 0.1 µm.

Ideal for applications where knowledge about only the largest pore is important, the POROLUX™ 50 offers quick and accurate results on:
  • Measured first bubble point
  • Calculated first bubble point
POROLUX 50

PRESSURE SCAN POROMETER

The Pressure Scan Series is a gas liquid porometer that uses pressure scan method developed for the rapid measurement of through-pores in materials such as filters, non-wovens, textiles, paper, membranes, hollow fibres etc.

Gas-liquid displacement porometer based on the pressure scan method: the applied pressure and the resulting gas flow are measured continuously. Capable of providing very fast and reproducible measurements, making it ideal for quality control work.

PRESSURE STEP/STABILITY POROMETER

The Pressure Step Porometer Series is a gas liquid porometer uses the pressure step/stability method to preform rapid measurements of through-pores in porous materials.  This series is also very accurate and reproducible measurements of  first bubble point, maximum pore size, mean flow pore size, minimum pore size, pore size distribution and gas permeability.

There is also an external advanced liquid permeability option (comes with both external software & hardware)

* Improved & updated as of Jan 2020

Liquid Liquid Porometer Series

Picture
The Liquid-Liquid Porometer (LLP) is rapid & precise. It allows for testing of pore size down to 2nm and, compared to other techniques, uses lower pressures for characterisation of traditional micro-, nano-porous materials.
It is the first LLP equipment based on a pressure driven concept, which guarantees the maximum accuracy, especially when measuring pore sizes in the submicron range.

The POROLIQ™ 1000AQ uses a combination of three ultrasensitive liquid flow sensors to measure exactly and accurately flow rates from 0.16 μl/min (to detect the displacement of wetting liquid out of the pores from the very beginning). It is ideal for full characterization of hollow fibers at low pressures.
