VUV MONOCHROMATORS AND SPECTROGRAPHS
HORIBA Scientific has developed some of the most innovative Vacuum Ultra Violet (VUV) monochromators for synchrotron centers and the wider scientific community. By taking advantage of our leading position as designers of diffraction gratings, these monochromators combine the ultimate advanced diffraction grating technologies and ultra-precise mechanics under vacuum.
They have been installed in several synchrotron centers and have demonstrated consistently superior performance. HORIBA Scientific has developed a wide offering of compact VUV monochromators for applications such as extreme UV lithography and soft x-ray photoemission spectroscopy.

Single Holographic Gratings Spectrometers
H20-UVLBased on a single holographic concave aberration corrected grating, the H20-UVL is a monochromator covering the range 100-600 nm. His extremely compact design is ideal for lighting samples or making low resolution measurement when equipped with a single channel detector. A spectrograph version for multi-channel detector is also available upon request.
H30-UVLCompleting our offer in FUV monochromators, the H30-UVL allows working either in monochromator mode using an exit slit or in flat field spectrograph mode using a CCD detector. His very compact and unique design, based on a unique single holographic aberration corrected toroïdal grating results in a very good image quality and an unmatched throughput.

Toroïdal Gratings Spectrometers
Based on a toroïdal grating design, the TGS (Toroïdal Grating Spectrograph) series are compact flat field spectrographs. In this design, the grating is fixed, which allows achieving a very good stability and compactness.
Detector slides over the 40 mm exit flat field of the spectrograph. With a choice of three gratings (both master and replica) the TGS series covers a large VUV range from 9.5 to 170 nm. |

vacuum spectrometer with monochromator
Based on the first VUV instrument in the world designed around a toroïdal aberration corrected grating, the TGM (Toroidal Grating Monochromator) series monochromators covers the whole VUV wavelength range from 10 to 400 nm.
Its optical design dramatically reduces astigmatism and results in excellent luminosity and spectral purity, even at low wavelength. TGM are available in three configurations (TGM300, TGM1200 and TGM1900) depending on the spectral range and resolution you want to achieve. |

Plane Grating Spectrometer
The PGM (Plane Grating Monograph) series are especially designed for analyzing Extreme UV (EUV) to Far UV (FUV) as a monochromator (slit-slit) or spectrograph (slit-CCD port).
Instead of having a fixed spherical grating and the exit port rotating on the Rowland circle like most of the other common designs, our PGM is straight (the entrance and exit arm are parallel) and both entrance and exit ports are fixed, making our compact PGM a very easy solution to integrate into your existing setup. |
