Near-infrared and Mid-infrared References
The Near-infrared (NIR) spectral region conventionally spans wavelengths ranging from 750 nm to 2500 nm. Starna has undertaken the development of reference materials tailored specifically for the assessment of absorbance and wavelength accuracy within this NIR range. Furthermore, we have introduced a novel polystyrene reference material, meticulously traceable to NIST standards, designed to cater to the Mid-infrared (MIR) spectrum. This reference material is particularly well-suited for the rigorous qualification of Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) measurements.
