Environmental radiation Monitoring
Environmental radiation monitoring systems is a solution developed to help monitor and detect the radiation level in an outdoor environment. It is capable of differentiating between artificial and natural radiation. Standard detectors range from Dual GM tubes (high dose tube & low dose tube), Ion chamber and Scintillators for spectroscopy. NaI(Tl), LaBr3(Ce) and CdTeZn are utilised to measure and analyse the spectrum.
The stationary version is ideal for long-term environmental radiation monitoring, while the mobile version is ideal for quick portable solutions and temporarily replace for the stationary posts when they are unavailable (i.e. damaged by unexpected natural disasters).
