Analytical Technologies offers a full suite of MANUAL & AUTOMATIC alpha/beta counters incorporating either gas-flow proportional detector or dual-phosphor scintillation detector technologies.
Manual, single detector systems are ideally suited for applications requiring long count times for a small number of samples. Automatic systems are ideally suited for applications requiring relatively short counting times for a large number of samples.

Automatic Systems
Automatic alpha/beta counters are incorporated with one of the two detectors; either gas-flow proportional detector or dual-phosphor scintillation detector technologies.

Manual Systems

In opposition with the automated series, manual or single detector systems are best made for applications requiring long count times over a small number of samples. |

Multi-Detector Systems
The Multi-Detector System (MDS) is a high premium alpha/beta counters. It is a high-throughput & low-background system for low-level background alpha and beta counting.
The system contains configuration that can accommodate 4, 8, 12, or 16 detectors in facilitating specific sample volume and throughput rate requirements. Each detector is mechanically independent, allowing changes (i.e. loading, counting, routine maintenance) done simultaneously with other applications. The MDS is ideal for applications looking to improve sample throughput when high sensitivity requirements are more important than long counting times. |
